1. You are stuck on a deserted island by yourself for one year with electricity and a record player. You are allowed one record album for each decade (70s, 80s, and 90s) to have and listen to over and over, which albums are with you?

70s: Grease Soundtrack (1978), Various
80s: An Innocent Man (1983), Billy Joel
90s: Not strictly 90s but released then The Carpenters Love Songs (1997)

2. If you believed in aliens, what do you want them to be most like - Close in Encounters of the Third Kind (1977), ET (1982), or Men In Black (1997)? Why?

E.T. as they'd be wee, friendly and fun to have adventures with. I'd also want to fly anywhere and everywhere on a bike with them and see and understand the world from their experiences.

3. You are given a time traveling DeLorean that will allow you to go anywhere at anytime in the world. When and where are you going? Why?

Great question, I'd like to go back in time to watch one of the great Irwin Allen movies, Return to the Poseidon Adventure being made, I love these movies and
watching one being made in the pre CGI days would be amazing. I would love to meet the all star cast too, especially Michael Caine!

4. What are some of your favorite retro candies?

Texan Bars, it was a bar of nougat covered in chocolate and my fave chocolate bar as a kid in 1980s Scotland. Sadly they don't make them anymore but they were really yummy!

5. Describe what Banzai Retro Club is to you.

Its a fabulous collaboration with some lovely, supportive bloggers and podcasters where we write and and talk all things retro.

6. Why do you podcast and/or blog?

I blog because I love writing about entertainment and particularly TV and films. As a kid the idea of being a film or tv reviewer was my dream job. It also gives me an excuse to revisit the movies i enjoyed as a kid and learn more about the movies and tv I enjoy. It has has introduced me to a lot of lovely podcasters and bloggers, and I've made some great friendships. Also as a number of celebrities have liked or commented on my posts, it makes me feel I'm thanking them in a small way for being part of my life.

7. You are still stuck on that deserted island and you know have been given a VCR and allowed to bring with you all seasons of just one TV series for each decade (70s,80s, and 90s) what shows come with you?

70s: Dallas - I'd definitely want to have these particular boxsets to rewatch as always been a favourite since then.
80s: Dynasty - Havent seen all of it so like to watch it all x
90s: Haven't seen all of it but also love to see the  whole of the Quantum Leap series.

8. Which celebrities and/or retro icons (that are currently living) you would love to interview?

I'd love to interview Michael Caine, Jack Nicholson and anyone from the Dallas TV Show or the Brat Pack. Or anyone else in Movies and TV.

9. Back on the deserted island, you get to bring 3 books with you from any time period, what books are with you?

a. Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger
b. Strong Medicine by Arthur Hailey
c. Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century by Nancy Schoenberger and Sam Kashner

10. You are teaching kids about each decade (70s, 80s, and 90s) and you are asked to pick one movie for each decade that defines those 10 years. What one movie best represents each of these decades?

70s: Kramer vs Kramer
80s: St. Elmo's Fire
90s: Austin Powers International Man of Mystery
